The Ongwediva Town Council is geared to serve its clients in a demand orientated, highly responsive and professional fashion, creating partnerships for the common good of all its residents and providing leadership in shaping the town's future to make it a vibrant, investment friendly and safe centre in an emerging metropolitan area in the northern part of Namibia.
Vision
Ongwediva is developing as the leading town in the north of Namibia offering a high quality of life coupled with healthy lifestyles in a safe and attractive environment. It attracts intellectual capital and provides plenty of business opportunities in the service, professional and educational industries. In developing the town into a centre of service excellence, the Local Authority, business community and residents strive to achieve common, purposeful goals and create a sense of connectivity and partnership.
